10 hours roasted lamb with thyme, honey and lemon

A foodie pal of mine, who is in Barcelona now; had a "10 hours roasted lamb with thyme, honey and lemon", at the Brown 33 restaurant on Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona and wanted to share this with me. it took him time to explain the cooking process and how tender it was! but it is all simply explained in the dish's title!

basically, It is lamb chunks wrapped with with lamb flank and roasted from the morning to be served at night with a side of potatoes that are boiled with the lamb stock then sautéed. 

I can only imagine how tasty and tender that was!

Sweet Shawerma, odd! but very typical of food in Brunei, as they tend to caramelize almost every thing from what I've seen so far! I'm not complaining as I've devoured the whole thing as seen above :) highly unusual yet highly pleasant! :)

I think he loves the food there more than his mother! :P because he was so poetic describing the Chicken Foie Gras, and because he is going back for dinner with his friends the day after tomorrow! :)

For the second time, a friend of mine recommends that i try something he had and enjoyed! this time it was a home delivered Buffalo Wings ! it sounded intriguing because of the claim put on their Twitter account (Link) "Simply the best Buffalo wings in town".! i decided to put that statement to test right away!

I ordered after i got the word, got it the next day for lunch. you just have to select the spiciness level, i ordered mine medium; it sweat my eyebrows! next time i should get it mild!

it was an enjoyable Buffalo Wings!

But I stand firm by the Buffalo Wings made in our house because ours is second to none!  :)

We were on an official mission trip in Riyadh and my partner insisted on having lunch and dinner twice at the B+F Burger Boutique! So, we almost tried everything on the menu! everything we had was good, but one item in particular was outstanding; the Black Label Wagyu Burger!!  I don't understand why that beast is not on any of the B+F chain menus  in Kuwait? the other item that i think is much better done in Riyadh branch than B+F OFK Kuwait is the Pizza! Its done really well in Riyadh!

Conclusion,,

Black Label Wagyu Burger .. come home!

U.S. Supreme Court declares Tomato a vegetable :) its Not!

Tomato is botanically a fruit, despite a U.S. Supreme Court Ruling in May 10, 1893! :) following a legal controversy at the time with reference to laws imposing duty on vegetables! thats funny :)

Tamarillo (seen below) is from the Tomato family, a very tasty sweet fruit I tried in Bali. the same is available in Sultan Center Shaeb for a wobbling 4.99 KD/Kilo !

the fish was so meticulously de-boned it was a joy to watch!

the appetizers could not have been any better! i wish i had more pictures to show of it but unfortunately this salad pic was the only one i found.
