Lita's mexican Food

I won't be nit picky over the few imperfections i encountered at Lita's Mexican Food for two very legitimate reasons:
  1. The owners are in the kitchen and behind the service counter preparing and handing out the orders. which is a ++ to me as it shows commitment!
  2. The food is indeed authentic Mexican food as the cook "Lita", hence the restaurant name; is Mexican from Il Paso.
Lita is married to a Kuwaiti, and both daughter and son are helping her out run the business. the food was good! but unfortunately they ran out of most of the things i wanted to try because i arrived 30 minutes before their closing time!
every Friday and Saturday they have a special dish, this week's special is tamales! if you want to try it then today is your last chance! :)
the place was full, the customers were %50 Kuwaitis %50 Expatiates (mainly Americans).
as explained to me by one of the partners, Lita's serve seasonal dishes, like they are currently serving summer dishes! winter menu will be different!
this joint has a lot of potential, but they need to work on time, service and a proper dine in arraignment! i.e. larger seating area, proper cutlery and authentic Mexican dishes and an over all mexican atmosphere! they could easily fill in the void in the market for a proper dine in Authentic Mexican cuisine! as there are none in Kuwait as far as i know.

  1. I ate their with some friends last night and the service was good. For freshly made food, the wait was expectedly, actually shorter than I expected. I had a chicken fajita and it was very good. They served us some churros drizzled with chocolate after which were also good. I will definitely be going back.
