Quite simply, this place can easily compete as the best crepe joint in london. Again, located in Brixton Village, the wonderful underrated foodies heaven!
This place is run by an ex British Airways flight attendant Brazilian Chef, so no wonder most of the people working there are of Latin origins, like Spain and Brazil!
both crepes shown in the photos above are just Excellent ! most definitely, their crepes gets the highest scores on any rating scale out there !

La Petite Maison - London

Appetizers
Warm Prawns

Potatoes au gratin

Salmon Carpaccio

Main Course
Veal

Lamb chops

Can't remember what type of fish this was, but it was remarkable!

Desserts
Hot Chocolate Souffle with vanilla ice cream

French toast with vanilla ice cream

Vanilla Creme Brulee

Passion fruit cheese cake
Less is More!
La Petite Maison is more elaborate on taste and "raw materials" than it is with presentation. which i think is a trade mark of French cooking methods! its about the proteins, weather it be meats, fish or poultry. the lamb chops and the fish were just delicious! despite its unstimulating appearance!

La petite Maison has recently opened in Dubai! and I hear its even better than the original one in London!

Cheese Sandwich - Raclette

Raclette Melting

Raclette Sandwich

I found this guy making these sandwiches on a rainy day in london, it made all the difference! :)

"Raclette is a semi-firm, cow's milk cheese - most commonly used for melting. Raclette is also a dish indigenous to parts of Switzerland and the Savoie region of France. The Raclette cheese round is heated, either in front of a fire or by a special machine, then scraped onto diners' plates; the term raclette derives from the French word racler, meaning "to scrape". Traditionally, it is accompanied by small firm potatoes (Bintje, Charlotte or Raclette varieties), gherkins, pickeled onions, and dried meat.

A modern way of serving raclette involves an electric table-top grill with small pans, known as coupelles, to heat slices of raclette cheese in. Generally the grill is surmounted by a hot plate or griddle". (wikipedia)
